Grifo Developments is pleased to invite the Royal Tunbridge Wells community to learn more about emerging proposals for the Torrington Car Park site, located directly opposite the train station.

Thank you to everyone who attended our in-person consultation events and to those who have already taken the time to share their views.

The feedback received so far is appreciated and will help inform the next stage of design as the proposals continue to evolve.

Guiding Principles

  • Design for Build-to-Rent led mixed-use, including commercial space
  • Retention of all 405 existing public & rail car parking spaces
  • Protect the interests of Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, and Network Rail
  • Design a building that’s in keeping with Royal Tunbridge Wells and of high quality, that will stand the test of time
  • Focus on deliverability - building without delay and to minimise impact on the community
